g-Media

This major application streamlines the processing and storage of high quality digital media. The module is useful for organisations that have or produce large amounts of digital media that need to be shared over the web or distributed to external organisation such as printers, journalists and so on.
Flexible and feature rich
The image management module uses imaging processing software to process TIFFs, high quality JPEGs and other image files into predefined service copies. These service copies can be of different resolutions, include visible and invisible watermarking and be used for the most appropriate medium such as low resolution for the web, medium resolution for MS Office documents and presentations and high resolution for printing.
The media library workflow encourages users to assign appropriate metadata to the media files and can ensure correct administration and management both before and after publication. Typical metadata used includes taxonomies, Dublin Core, bespoke elements and copyright/release information.
Front end components facilitate the searching and display of media objects on your website, while security permissions can be leveraged to limit access to certain files.
The media library has been developed and is wholly owned by System Associates and we have extensive experience in customising the product to suit the needs of specific installations.
