System Associates has seen off tough competition to become one
of just seven technology innovators from around the UK to win a
grant to enable them to explore life changing assistive
technologies.
The funding has come from two competitions sponsored by the
Department for Business Innovation and Skills (BIS) and the
Technology Strategy Board (TSB) and managed by JISC TechDis, a
leading UK advisory service on technology and inclusion.
The project is called Navitext and will deliver an
enhanced Digital Delivery Solution to enable individuals with
visual impairments and learning disabilities to navigate digital
documents.
